Crunch time

Bec 1 go to the play-offs

Bec 1

Bec 1 play in the England Korfball League (EKL) which is the top league in England. Having narrowly missed out on playoff positions during the 2012/2013 season Bec 1 have bolstered their squad this season and will be looking to challenge for the top. Boasting 8 England internationals across the senior and the U19 teams there is a good blend of youth and experience to take Bec up the ladder and for them to be able to maintain this in years to come!

Bec 2

Bec 2 also have their sights set on the top having finished 4 adrift and coming 3rd. Training as a squad with Bec 1 there will be competition aplenty which should see Bec 2 rise back to the top as they did in the 2011/2012 season. Much like the first team, there is a good blend of youth and experience which should hold Bec in good stead for the coming season and going forward!

Bec 3

Bec 3 currently play in the top London Regional League. It is a highly competitive team which includes experienced ex-national league players. Bec 3 finished 8th last year and are hoping to finish in the top 5 under their new coach this year; the one and only Stu Ironmonger.

Bec 4

Bec 4 is fortunate to have Ho Yei Chow as their coach this year and will benefit from her experience playing in the Dutch leagues. With the squad including many players that are recognising their potential and making their way up through the Bec squads this is going to be a promising season for Bec 4 in the London League 2.

Bec 5

This is Bec's fun/recreational team and although they play every game to win, this is where new people to korfball will get the opportunity to experience playing this fantastic sport. Bec 5 currently play in the London League 3. This year they are being coached by ex-England international player Karen Sparrow.
