Future Bec Coaches
At the recent London Mini Games Bec Junior Coach Tony Micallef ask 3 of the Bec Under 13 team to assist him in coaching the younger teams, below is a write up of their experience . You never know they may be the future Bec Squad Coach. Danny Miles better watch out !!!
Today I was asked by Tony to coach for the first time. My team were from Nonsuch Primary school. They were Alice, Emily, Thomas and
James. They played really well, listened to my instructions and all of them scored at least one goal. The team looked like they all enjoyed playing and they had fun. My team played 5 games and won 3 of them.
I really enjoyed the experience of coaching a team and being able to help them. I would like to coach again.

Thank you to Tony for asking Chloe and I to coach Nonsuch Team 2 which was made up of players from Nonsuch Primary School
(my old School) and Croydon. We played five matches, won and drew one and lost the rest! It was the first time one of the players had
ever played.
I really enjoyed showing William and Paul lots of different skills during the game breaks and they really enjoyed themselves and improved
lots as the tournament went on. It was quite hard coaching from the sidelines but I really loved it and would love to
do it again. Well done to Nonsuch Team 2.

Thank you Tony for asking me and Jessie Walters to coach a team at the Croydon mini games, I really enjoyed it. My team was made up of 2
people from Nonsuch Primary School and 2 from Croydon . We won one, drew one and lost the rest.
William and Paul listened really well when me and Jessie during the breaks where trying to teach them how to defend their oppositions shot and
when they catch the ball to keep their feet still, which they did really well after some practise. I really enjoyed coaching the under 9s and would love to do it again.
Well done Nonsuch 2.
