Over the last few years Bec have rejuvenated their junior section by working closely with local schools in Wandsworth and showcasing themselves at Family Fun Days. As a result the club is thriving with juniors across Years 3-9 which has resulted in the club being able to obtain grants to keep the costs low and encourage participation.

 

The strong local connections have resulted in:

• After school clubs being setup at local schools

• An Inter-School competition being established between 2 local Primary schools

• An Inter-House competition being created in a local Secondary school

 

Aside from the training sessions, Bec participate in the London Mini Games which take place throughout the indoor season and are a great way for the kids to experience a tournament environment and play competitive games against other schools/clubs. The fun doesn’t stop throughout the Summer months as we continue to train whilst basking in the Sun and have lots of fun playing in the Summer tournaments, continuing to build on the new found friendships!

Bec have a history of producing elite players who have gone on to represent their country on the International stage. This has stemmed from our qualified coaches providing them with the pathways to develop through club, county and country. So if you have a desire to play for your country then be assured that Bec have the acumen to support this and will fully back the progression!
