    Denton announces first & second team squad for 2017/18 season

    We are entering a new era at Bec Korfball Club with the introduction of head coach, John Denton, and assistant coach, Graham Box. Their main focus will be bringing the best out of our extremely competitive first and second team. The first team has consistently been at the top of England Korfball League for the last few seasons, whilst the second team has been similarly hard to beat at the top of the London league.     It’s been quite a year for the Bec Juniors section of our club. The attendance for the first month (up to 5!) had us worried. But thanks to partnerships formed with 3 local schools, Fircroft Primary School,Furzedown Primary School & Graveney School in addition to selling the sport at the Furzedown Big Day and Active Wandsworth-Get Active Wandsworth Festival we were able to significantly increase – and sustain – our numbers as the year progressed.
