2019/20 Season so far…

Bec 70th Birthday!

In September we had the Bec 70th celebrating with current and past Bec members in Tooting! It was a fantastic evening with a great turn out! Roll on the 80th!!

The New Season…

The 2019/20 season has already had a good a start with 6 out 9 wins so far with our 11 newbies already looking good in yellow! We can’t wait to see our first team in action against local rivals Trojans! Also we’ve had 3 of our juniors step up into our senior leagues with 1 of them already getting goal of the week (The future looks good!)

Our juniors had a great recruitment over the summer with 8 new kids enjoying the free summer korfball and now joining our indoor sessions! We can’t wait to see them in action in the London Mini Games!

Becstars represent county and country!

5 of our Becbee’s trialed for the London Korfball Youth teams to hopefully play in the Interarea in January! (Fingers Crossed for them). Plus we had 3 of our squad members (Billy, Jess and Marcus) represent England at the U21s European Korfball Championships. With an impressive tournament the team overall came 4th and have qualified for the U21 World Championships 2020 in China.

Great Ormond Street!

Our junior team helped to support the Great Ormond Street RBCRaceforKids event in Hyde Park where they offered free korfball for all. A huge thanks to Dav, Chloe, Amie and the event organisers! It was a great day, even the despite the weather!
